cube is, for lack of a better word, fucked up. but it's good. i saw most of it when it was on tv last week, but i need to see it in its entirety. and i'd like to see hypercube, aka cube2, as it goes into 4th and 5th demensions and time loops and stuff. but it's one fucked up movie. it's kinda up there with Fight Club somewhere.

it's not a mindless movie. you're trying to figure it out along with the characters, in a sense. but it's good. Dax from Star Trek: DS9 is in it, and she's super cool.
damn. i need to see it again. especially since i missed the part in the beginning where the guy gets cubed. it's supposed to be really gory.

Just got back from seeing Pirates of the Carribean, upon everyone's recommendation here, and decided to revive this thread.
That movie really did rock, you guys were completely correct. And Johnny Depp was hilarious! I haven't seen him that wacky in a long time. Nobody mentioned how funny he was!!! And loopy. And more loopy. He stole the movie from everyone else, walking around in his own little world throughout. [img]wink.gif[/img]

Yeah, I only wished I had seen it when everyone here was talking about it so much. I can see now there were a lot of jokes that I just didn't get, like Jely/Jessy/Jack's "But why is the rum gone?" which now just makes me crack up. [img]smile.gif[/img]
